That 30 plays restriction is interesting. One can assume these are still limited play demos, not the full games, so the purpose has to be to get you to buy the game if you like the demo... But that's how it should be with unlimited demos. Which suggests they've concluded people who are satisfied with just playing the demo are numerous enough to be a problem... But then, 30 plays is way more than enough to grow weary of the limited content of most demos, so... I dunno, it's just odd.
I think the limited demo plays is optional to the developer andmabey some games will warrent it more than others and some could mabey do without it at all. For instance, if you are a casual gamer who just likes to kill time then the Mario Kart DS demo would be more than enough fun for them (as a time killer) so by limiting play times would work for that whereas some other games like the demo of resident evil revaltations on the mercs 3d game doesnt have the replayabity anyway so play time wouldnt really need to be applied.

I know I've been playing the Wipeout Demoes quite a lot lately. Sony would've done good to have limited them, if you ask me.
I expect they will put up the demos that have been on the store demo units since launch. That would help clear out some of their launch stock whilst keeping its fans who want demos happy. Demos that I have come across in store are Pilotwings, StreetFighter IV and Nintendogs so I suppose thats a start.

@Raptor78 - I've also seen demos of StarFox 64, Steel Diver and DOA:D in stores. Additionally, supposedly Nintendo should have/is going around upgrading the demo units in stores that allow for more than 1 demo per unit (a video of that unit is in this forum topic here, but it's been a month since the last post, so I wouldn't post there if I were you), but I don't think there's one in my area to confirm that or see what games are there for myself.
Now you come to mention it I did see a StarFox64 demo in a Gamestation once. Actually a downloadable demo of that would be good because I have the Virtal Console version of the game on my wii so I wasnt really that interested in picking up the 3DS retail version, but spending some time with a demo may change my mind.

This is basically footage of the upcoming Monster Hunter 3G but if you watch the few seconds he's scrolling through a good sized selection of demos. I hope we get all of them as well.
